Connectivity Configuration

You must have an in-flight mobile internet connection to enable SafeSky to collect the traffic. There are two distinct ways of doing this.

  • Option 1 - Your device (phone or tablet) is equipped with a SIM card providing access to the mobile internet. In this case, connectivity-wise, your device(s) is fully operational to use SafeSky.

  • Option 2 - Your tablet is NOT equipped with a SIM card. In this case, you can connect it to another device with an internet connection. Simply activate the mobile hotspot on the device providing internet access and then connect your tablet to this hotspot.
